Baden Powell is a middle sized primary school. The school has a computer suite linked to the internet and each class has timetabled slots. Information and communication technology is developed through all other areas of the curriculum. Design and technology involves the process of designing, making and evaluating. The school values and promotes the children's creative skills and their awareness and knowledge of products in the environment. Religious education is based on Hackney's agreed syllabus. The school has an active parents and teaching association which is generous with its time and energy in raising money and organises many fundraising events for the school as well as promoting community spirit. The governing body has responsibility for ensuring that the school is run properly and efficiently. There are a variety of extra-curricular activities such as football, netball, drumming and French for children to take part in.
