Background:
Founded in the early 1950s, Earlham Primary School is situated in Forest Gate, in the north of London Borough of Newham. It is easily accessed by public transport; the nearest railway station (five minutes walk) is Forest Gate Station and there are several bus routes nearby; Stratford Station is about twenty minutes walk. The school building is two-storied with the school playground at the front. 'Various' extra-curricular activities are available and the pupils raise money for local charities. A 'breakfast club' is provided from 8am and there are usually after school clubs until 4.30pm. The school is over-subscribed.
