Background:
George Eliot Junior School is situated in the St John's Wood area of the City of Westminster, although most of the pupils come from the neighbouring London Borough of Camden. The school is on the same site as George Eliot Infant School and Quinton Kynaston Secondary School. The school is for children aged seven to 11. This is a community school which is funded by Westminster city council, and therefore receives its funding from the state. The school aims to provide a sensitive and caring approach within a secure environment in which all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential, spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and physically.
