Background:
Kenmore Park Middle School was originally built in the 1930s. Since then, the school has been extended to include an extension block for design and technology; a new mobile building that provides three extra classrooms, and a studio. In the main part of the school there are nine classrooms, a library, computer room, music room, medical room, a hall and gymnasium. There is a playground with sports pitches marked out. The school is a multi-faith community which values the variety and diversity of faiths within the school. Religious education lessons aim to teach the children to understand and respect world religions and encourage tolerance and spiritual awareness. The school offers a range of clubs and after school activities including choir, orchestra, band, drama, ICT, power point, football and netball. The school aims to provide a caring and supportive environment where all children can develop social awareness and consideration for others.
