Background:
The school was opened in 1952 in a spacious building set in a large ground which provide four playgrounds with a number of trees. The number of children attending the school has dropped over the years which allows them to have designated rooms for art, music, information and communication technology, special educational needs, learning mentor, library and a wide range of creative and sporting activities both within the curriculum and extra-curricular activities. The school provides welcoming and secure environment where everyone knows these are high standards set for them and that they are expected to set high standards for themselves within the support given.
