Background:

The school is a two-form entry primary school with a nursery, maintained by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The school is situated in the regenerated docklands area on the Isle of Dogs and provides them with generous and well-equipped learning spaces both inside and out. It is fully accessible to all pupils. The school is proud of the multicultural nature of its school and the children in the school speak a range of different languages. The school is fortunate in the variety of cultures and religions present at Arnhem Wharf. The school has after-school activities such as: choir, football, physical education, arts and crafts, homework, drama, science and netball. The school has established a business education partnership with Morgan Stanley. The national curriculum has core subjects: English, mathematics, science, information and communication technology (ICT) and foundation subjects are history, geography, design and technology, art, physical education, music.
