Background:
Open-plan school, built in 1971, on the west of borough of Haringey; serves a community that is socially, ethnically, culturally and economically diverse. Sporting activities include gymnastics, basketball, kwik-cricket, indoor athletics and swimming. Pupils raise money for charity at local sporting events, including the YMCA Mile Fun Run and the BT Swimathon. Children from Year 2 upwards take part in weekly club time where they can choose activities from a varying list of sports and crafts. There is also a string orchestra. Before-school care for Key Stage 1, from 8am; after-school care, until 6pm. Over-subscribed, with two applications per place. Activemark.
