Background:

Housed in a two-storey building, this over-subscribed school is situated in Stoke Newington amongst mainly residential buildings. There is a chairlift and accessible toilet for those with mobility impairments. The school also has a library, resources room, a 'quiet' room and its own kitchen and is in 'good condition both internally and externally'. In the grounds there are two playgrounds with adjoining garden, and a nature garden with a pond. Parents are 'encouraged to play an active role', the school believing that 'education begins at home and parents are a child's first and most important teachers'. The school community is 'dedicated to providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment where all the children can develop their skills and talents in a variety of ways and to the best of their abilities'.
