Lawdale Junior School is a mixed junior school within Bethnal Green and is maintained by the Tower Hamlets local education authority. The school is situated near Bethnal Green Museum, Bethnal Green Market, Columbia Road flower market, Brick Lane and the famous York Hall. Religious education is based upon the agreed syllabus as defined by the Tower Hamlets Standing Advisory Committee for Religious Education (SACRE).
