Background:
Selsdon High School is an 11 to 16 comprehensive school for boys and girls, which is supported and maintained by Croydon Education. £250,000 has been spent to provide new furniture in every classroom, and to have classrooms and corridors redecorated. Science laboratories have been refurbished, and all computer rooms have been equipped with new computers and supplied with broadband for access to the internet. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These include art, drama, music, football, netball, hockey, athletics and dance. The school aims to provide an environment which is stimulating, safe and secure and in which all members of the school community can thrive.
