Background:
The Compton School is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 16. The Compton became a technology college in 2002 and information and communication technology (ICT) provision at the school continues to expand. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These include chess club, art club, design and technology club, multicultural club including Gujerati lessons and ICT club. The school aims to provide a well ordered atmosphere in which all students are able to learn.
