Elliott was founded as a comprehensive school in 1956. The school is now a foundation school and achieved language college status in 1997. Elliott is a grade second listed building and has ample playgrounds and grassed areas. The school has an excellent record of academic success and a strong tradition of cultural, artistic and sporting achievement. The school'seeks to develop an internationalist ethos. The school aims to provide a caring and supportive environment which caters for all students irrespective of their background, gender, ability or culture.
