Background:
At Stratford School all pupils are entitled to have a safe, well-organised, and disciplined working environment. Stratford is a multi-cultural, multi-faith school and its assemblies reflect this. Its aim is to develop sporting skills with positive attitudes towards exercise together with social skills through teamwork and competition. Activities include football, cricket, basketball, rounders, badminton, table tennis and outdoor pursuits. There are a wide range of activities including drama, dance music, sport and computers. A library and extra lessons in many subjects are also available. The school offers extension and challenge activities for pupils with particular talents through the 'Excellence in Cities' programme. The school aim is to provide pupils with values, skills and knowledge to help them flourish in a rapidly changing world.
