Background:
Originally in Ickenham, Swakeleys moved to new buildings on its present site in 1973. The school has been steadily expanding and there is a new humanities and technology block with enhanced ICT facilities as well as a second sports hall and a new suite of rooms to its designated Post 16 centre. The school offers a wide range of extra curricular activities including football, hockey and gymnastics. Educational visits are also arranged in both county and abroad to enhance the curriculum. The school aims to create a school community in which each individual is valued and in which learning thrives.
