Amy Johnson Primary School is accommodated in a bright, singly-storey building on the edge of the Roundshaw community in South Wallington. The school opened as a primary school in September 1991 upon the amalgamation of the former Roundshaw Infant and Junior schools. The school is very well equipped and facilities include two halls, two playgrounds, two playing fields and a separate nursery building. The school has recently opened an ICT suite and a whole school library. Its aim to ensure that all its pupils receive a varied, challenging and appropriate curriculum, which enhances the national curriculum and enriches each pupil's learning experiences.
