Background:
Ashmole School is a co-educational comprehensive school, situated in Southgate on the eastern boundary of the London Borough of Barnet. It was established in 1958 and from September 1999 became a Foundation School. In September 2004, Ashmole School completed a major new building and refurbishment project. The school buildings are now new offering the latest in facilities and accommodation. In September 2002, the school became a Specialist Science College. The school aims to ensure that every pupil achieves their very best, in terms of academic success and personal development.
