Background:
Bishop Challoner is a Catholic voluntary aided educational establishment. The school was established in 2001 to educate young men in the East End of London. The school has moved to a customised building in Lukin Street. The facilities are excellent and include the latest technology, science, computing, and performing arts. Opportunities for enrichment are very good with a varied and interesting programme of experience of all students. The school makes good use of additional funding to provide extension opportunities for gifted and talented students and there is open access to all activities for all those who wish to take part. Frequent trips are organised out of school. The school has a very strong links with the local education and business partnership. Bishop Challoner provides a disciplined and structured environment for effective teaching and learning so that all pupils may maximise their academic potential.
