Background:
Heathmere primary school is located in Roehampton in south-west London. The infant and junior schools were built in 1957. In 1990 the two schools were amalgamated. The Alton playgroup, where caters for babies and up to three year olds, is located on the site. Extra-curriculum activities include: philosophy, French, football, netball, reading and homework. The school aims to provide an education that fulfils the potential of each child; to build a supportive school community in which each individual plays an important role.
