Background:
The Kilmorie Primary School building was built in 1990 on the site of large Victorian building, originally a school, but latterly used as a centre for the professional development of teachers. The centre continues to occupy the upper floors, and the lower floors have been refurbished for Kilmore Primary. The design allows for full disabled access. The school has a non-competitive skills approach to sport and physical education while emphasising the importance of working as a team and having a healthy lifestyle. Pupils have access to a fully equipped computer suite in the professional development centre situated above the school.
