Background:
Sparrow Farm Junior is set in 'extensive' grounds which offer 'an extention of the learning environment'. Extra-curricular sports activities such as football and netball take advantage of the facilities. In addition, pupils can participate in drama, art and craft aerobics and hall games after school. The 'light and airy' classrooms are situated in a single, one storey building with a hall, library and medical room. As a community school, Sparrow Farm offers a range of activities such as family literacy, computer and ESOL classes along with mother and toddler groups. The school also runs the Sparrow Out of School Care Scheme and a holiday scheme.
