Background:
Suffolks School is a one-form entry primary with a morning nursery. The building is a single storey structure, with wide corridors in a t-shape. The school includes a purpose-built playground for the foundation stage, as well as very large grassed areas around the school. In additions to the classrooms it has bases for learning support, pupil counselling, and an ICT suite, which accommodates a whole class of children and has guided Internet access. The school is a part of the local community, with many children having parents and grandparents who previously attended the school. The friends of Suffolks School organises a variety of social and fundraising activities including roller discos, discos and bingo for children, as well as a bazaar each Christmas.
