The Archbishop Michael Ramsey Technology College is a Church of England comprehensive school for boys and girls aged 11 to 19. At Archbishop Michael Ramsey each child's self-esteem is considered to be of paramount importance. There are regular written subject reports and assessments. Students' progress and development are discussed at parents' meetings. A wide range of enrichment activities take place every day, either during lunch hour of after school. Instrumental tuition. The college has an excellent band and choir which take part in national competitions and perform in national venues. There are a number of sports clubs, ranging from chess to football, as well as a computer club. The school provides a caring Christian environment where enthusiasm for learning is encouraged and excellence celebrated. The habits of hard work and self-discipline are established and students are prepared for adult life.
