Background:
Holy Trinity Primary School, founded in 1862, is a Voluntary Aided Primary School within the principles and doctrines of the Church of England. The overall aim in all its English teaching is to enable each child to develop to the full his/her ability to understand and use the spoken and written forms of the English language. Music is closely linked to other areas of the curriculum, and it provides a valuable opportunity to experience the range and variety of music from other cultures, as well as the child's own. It provides a happy, caring environment in which the Christian faith is central to the ethos of the school and its teaching.
