Background:
Founded 1867 by Servite Friars, now housed in the heart of Chelsea in a building dating from the 1960s. In addition to all National Curriculum subjects and RE, classes in French and Portuguese and piano tuition available after school (paid for by parents). Support for children with special educational needs (SEN) given in small groups to address IEP targets. Lots of sporting activities, including swimming tuition for Key Stage 2 pupils. The school is proud of its education and business links with Pizza Express and the Bluebird Cafe, and its good links with the police. Wide range of charities supported by pupils. Over-subscribed. 'The Servite School is a Catholic, Christian community which provides a supportive and caring environment for all its members'.
