Background:
St Catherine's RC Primary has origins dating back to 1868 when Father Wren began Catholic teaching in West Drayton. The hall that had been used for this teaching was replaced in 1939 by new buildings and in 1960 four further classrooms were added. Pupils participate in extra-curricular netball, football, art and mathematics clubs. Last year French and science were also offered after school. Children enjoy the outdoor Christmas carol concert with a local brass band. Fundraising takes place for two different charities each year.
