Corpus Christi is a voluntary aided Roman Catholic primary school for boys and girls between the ages of five to 11 years. Religious education is at the centre of the curriculum. The school was opened in 1968. The school aims to provide a broad and balanced curriculum. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby. Educational visits are also arranged to enhance the curriculum. The school aims to prepare pupils for the opportunities responsibilities and experiences of adult life through the development of a partnership between school, home and parish, with the support of the whole church.
