Background:
Holy Trinity CofE Primary School is a voluntary-aided primary school with a Church of England foundation. The original school situated in East End Road was opened in 1847 by the national society and was the first industrial school in the country. The present building was opened officially in 1975. The school has been a Church of England school for over 150 years. The school has information and communication technology suite in which the children can use a range of information and communication technology tools to learn and develop information and communication skills. Each classroom is equipped with a computer that can be used to enhance learning and skills in information and communication, as well as to support learning in subject across the curriculum.
