Founded in 1864, this over-subscribed school is now housed in 'attractive' buildings set amid trees in a pleasant area of Worcester Park. The grounds incorporate a sports field, swimming pool, and 'ample' outdoor space for playing. Other facilities include a library, technology room and hall. The 'broad and balanced' curriculum yields 'excellent' academic achievements, partly due to the 'high' quality of Malden Parochial's teachers. A variety of extra-curricular activities is offered and the school is proud of its 'successes' in local education authority sports fixtures. The school is keen to maintain its 'very strong' and 'vital' links with the local community and parish church. A bi-annual charity programme encourages pupils to get involved in fundraising and an 'active' parent-teacher association supports the school by, for example, helping to maintain the swimming pool.
