Background:
St James Church founded the school in 1850. The original building was situated on the edge of Coldfall Woods in Fortis, and the present school was built in 1968. Extra-curricular activities are sometimes arranged by staff when time allows, however the school also sometimes accepts offers from commercial organisations to run out-of-school activities such as multi sports, football coaching and French tuition. Visits to museums, art galleries, theatres and local places of interest are also arranged as frequently as possible. The school aims to provide a close, intimate and family school environment.
