Background:
Sulivan Primary School was built in 1951 and is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-faith school. Each class is timetabled for lessons in the computer room each week and children follow a scheme which teaches a variety of computer skills from word processing and data handling to simulation. Religious education is taught to all children within the framework of a broadly Christian curriculum and is a legal requirement. A variety of teaching methods are used ranging from group work to whole class teaching. PE includes basic gymnastics, games skills, swimming, dance and basic athletics skills.
