Barrow Hedges School, which opened in 1955, is a two-form entry community primary school for boys and girls situated in a residential area between Wallington and Sutton. It is equipped as a gymnasium with fixed and portable apparatus and serves also as a dining hall. It has a wide range of extra-curricular activities including football, netball, cricket, chess, French and recorder.
