The school offers businesses and other organisations conference and training facilities in a modern, attractive setting. The school library offers an ideal venue for large committee meetings involving up to fifty persons. The progress made by its students in external examinations is consistently well above the average for schools in similar circumstances. It was borough champion in 2001 and 2003 and has been in the top three schools in the finals for the last five years. The school aims to develop a love of learning, which will remain with them throughout their lives.
