Background:
Hillbrook has a networked ICT suite, which contains 14 computers. Additionally, there are computers in all classrooms and teaching areas around the school. Both the suite and the classroom computers have access to a wide range of CD ROMs to support and encourage learning and research. Hillbrook follows the guidelines set out in the QCA document which allow the children to learn and practice new skills for a variety of sports including netball, football, volleyball, hockey, basketball, gymnastics, dance and swimming. The school is committed to providing and maintaining a warm, secure and caring environment in which its children can develop a feeling of self worth and respect for themselves and others, at home, work and in the wider community.
