Background:
Wembley High Technology College is a mixed multi-cultural comprehensive college. It serves a residential area of North Wembley and Sudbury in London, and also has many pupils from further field. It is close to the London Underground and a number of bus routes. As a technology college, it has had extra investment in science, mathematics, technology and information technology provision. At Key Stage 4, pupils have the opportunity to opt for a chosen activity within the units of games, gymnastics and athletics. The school has after-school clubs including drama club, young writers club, chess club and culture club. The school aims to promote a set of values, which encourages concern for, and sensitivity towards others by creating a positive and caring environment.
