Background:

Abbotsfield is the only foundation all-boys' comprehensive school in London Borough of Hillingdon. Music, drama and art come together in the last few weeks of the summer term to celebrate the excellent achievements of the year in Arts Fortnight. Clubs run throughout the year to develop creativity, including weekly lessons for boys learning to play a musical instrument. The excellent sporting facilities include a gym, sports hall, fitness room and extensive grounds. There are teams at all levels for the major sports, with regular local fixtures and inter-form competitions. The athletics season is crowned with the annual sports day, a chance for everyone to take part. The school aims to provide a secure, challenging and caring learning environment in which individuals are equally valued and encouraged to realise their full potential for future success.
