Background:

Belmont School is established in 1904, has served generations of children from the Chiswick. The school facilities include a specialist music room, and junior and infant libraries. The school has a separate canteen block, nature area, outdoor class and generous play areas. There are two playgrounds, one for juniors and separate areas for the nursery and reception pupils.The school recognises the importance of providing additional activities, currently children are able to participate in the various clubs including: football, netball, basketball, rugby, gymnastics, music, dance, drama, art, French, library, ICT. The school has two networked computer rooms, one for infants and one for juniors. These facilities enable junior children to be taught specific computing skills as a whole class. Religious education is taught throughout the school. Children gradually develop knowledge of different religions. The school has following awards: Quality Mark, Sport England Active Mark, Healthy School, NAACE Mark and ICT Mark (2006). The school regularly raises money for Leovalan, a village in India. The school is helping to develop its school. The school is committed to work in partnership with parents to provide a high quality education and equal opportunities for all of its children.
