Background:
Keir Hardie Primary School is a community primary school for pupils aged three to 11. There are 15 classes and every class is mixed ability. This school develops in pupils a sense of their own worth and a self-confidence, which will result in high expectations of themselves and an ambition to succeed in all aspects of their lives. The school's education welfare officer visits the school every week and checks the attendance of every child who attends the school. There are lots of different after school clubs at Kier Hardie School, including netball, football, dance, basketball and athletics. Keir Hardie Primary School aim is to provide a welcoming, friendly environment where all members of the school and local community feel equally valued.
