Background:
Mowlem School is a small school of 220 pupils serving a multicultural community in Tower Hamlets, with pupils aged five to 11 and a nursery for pupils aged three to five years. The school aims to educate and support all children in learning enabling them to achieve their highest potential in English, mathematics, and the wider, broader curriculum, ensuring all children have equal access to broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring all children will have equal access to a broad and balanced curriculum. The school has positive links with the local GPs, hospitals, and other medical support services. All children in the school must take part in physical education (games, gymnastics, dance, swimming etc). The school tries to offer a number of extra-curricular activities each term. The activities range from football clubs to art clubs and girls club. The school aims to provide a safe, friendly, clean and supportive environment that promotes pupil's self-confidence, a healthy lifestyle, respect and responsibility for themselves and others, and is pleasant place for all staff and pupils to work.
