Background:

The school was founded in Kensington Square in Parish of Our Lady of Victories Church in 1860 and the school moved to present site in 1956 in Victorian school building, south of the parish. The Home school and church links are treasured and a high standard of academic achievements in all areas is the goal for pupils. French is taught from reception and Latin from Year 3. The school offers many sporting and extra-curricular activities including football, cricket, short tennis, gymnastics, swimming, ballet and Italian language. The school has a strong musical tradition and children participate in a wide variety of performances including the local opera and the local orchestras. It has organised annual Year 6 trip to Cannes and has partnered with Chef Mark Leaker of East India Club. The school raises money for charities such as CAFOD. It has achieved two DfES achievement awards. This is a Catholic school that teaches Catholic values. As such the school believes in and fosters the inclusion of all within the community.
