Background:
The school was opened in 1870 by the Prince and Princess of Wales. It was built on the site of a spa and a church for Danish Seamen. The school was first modernised in 1960 when the hall and outer classrooms were added. The present nursery was completed in 1986. St Paul's is a one-form entry primary school built in 1872 and situated on Cable Street at the edge of the City of London with excellent transport links. This school is a multifaith, multicultural school with a friendly, talented and dedicated staff team. The school aims to provide a caring, inclusive and supportive community where every child is a valued member.
