Background:
Sir John Cass's Foundation Primary School is the only voluntary-aided Church of England primary school in the city of London. The school was originally founded in 1710. Each class has up to 30 children and altogether the school has places for 210 pupils aged 4 to 11. Each class has a computer with internet access, and there is a fully resourced computer suite. Design and technology includes woodwork, graphics, cooking, pottery, metalwork, textiles and building models with construction toys and recycled materials.
