Background:
South Park Primary School is a co-educational community day school for pupil between the ages of five and 11 years. In curricular and extra-curricular time children are given opportunities to experience a wide range of sporting activities, which include small-sided games, gymnastics, dance and athletics. Swimming is taught to Year 5 children during an intensive two week block. The school aims to provide an environment which develops within its children an enquiring mind, an enjoyment of learning for its own sake and the ability to communicate and express ideas, opinions and emotions.
