Background:
St Barnabas and St Philip's Primary School is a Church of England primary school. It has two computers in every class, as well as a small ICT suite that is networked across the school. It has acquired a bank of 15 laptop computers that are used by junior children. The religious education curriculum aims to increase children's knowledge of Christianity, Judaism and Islam, although being a Church of England school, an emphasis is placed on Christianity and Gospel values. The children follow a programme that includes gymnastics, dance, games, swimming, athletics and orienteering. Pupils have the opportunity to learn to swim in Year 4 when they attend Chelsea swimming pool during the summer term. Over-subscribed, with four applications per place. Beacon status.
