Background:
St John's and St Clement's is a Church of England Primary School which offers a broad and varied education to pupils from five to 11 years old. The school moved to its present refurbished premises in April 1994. On each of three floors there are classrooms, toilets, and a disabled toilet. In addition, the ground floor accommodates dining and kitchen facilities and the first floor has a library and staffroom. The second floor houses the hearing impairment resource, the information and communication technology suite, the special needs room and an office for the deputy head. The school building and playground are non-smoking areas. As a Church of England school, it provides a Christian environment in which children can grow intellectually, spiritually, physically and emotionally. The school aims to provide a happy and secure atmosphere in which each child can develop their personality and ability as fully as possible.
