Background:

St Peter's Church of England Primary School values are informed by the values central to Christianity. All staff and pupils are charged with the responsibility of promoting equal opportunities throughout their work in the school, and when representing the school in a range of events. Teachers are expected to use their professional judgement with regards to behaviour. All members are staff expected to familiarise themselves with the behaviour support policy. A whole variety of after school clubs exist mainly for children in key stage 2 but the younger age groups are catered for as well. It has art, basketball, craft, chess and board games, drama, soccer, netball, dance, computer, gardening, clay, newspaper, roller, hockey and textile club. The award winning Pocket Park, which is a conservation area adjacent to the school field but open to the public, is the property of the school. It is a registered charity and is financially separate from the school's resources. St Peter's Church of England wants for each member of the school to discover and realize their true potential in a Christian environment.
