Background:

Warwick School for Boys is a comprehensive secondary school catering for boys between the ages of 11-16. The school is based on two sites north and south. The main administrative building is in the north site. The school encourages pupils to participate fully in the life of the school and continue as adults to contribute positively and actively to their communities. It encourages all boys to use their free time usefully and many activities are available to students at lunchtimes or after school. At present some of the clubs being offered to students are: football, basketball, cricket, squash, chess and art. There is a Learning resource centre on both the north and south sites of the school. Each is staffed by a full-time librarian and offers boys a combination of traditional library facilities and modern information technology. Arrangements can be made for parents to withdraw their children from religious education. The physical education department is highly regarded and provides a range of opportunities both during and after school in which individuals can participate. There are traditional team games such as soccer, hockey, and cricket. The school aims to meet the needs of all the pupils by providing a wide range of learning experiences and opportunities through a broad and balanced curriculum.
