Founded by Dr John Betts in 1859, the school is housed in a small Victorian building with modern additions and a playground to the rear; situated a short distance from Ravenscourt Park. Extra-curricular activities include chess, drama, netball, football and fencing; children at Key Stage 2 are encouraged to join the borough choir and Saturday Music School. Educational visits to places such as the British Museum, National Portrait Gallery, St Albans, and the Thames Explorer Trust. Beacon status.
