Background:

St Jude's School replaced the original school, known as St Paul's which was believed to have opened in 1834. Information technology is used in most areas of the curriculum. There is a computer in every classroom and in the libraries. The aim of music education at St Jude's is to develop an understanding and enjoyment of music. It is a significant part of the curriculum and all children are encouraged to participate fully. The school'supports and encourages children to take part in extra-curricular activities on and off school premises. Clubs currently held at the school are steel band, guitar, choir, drama, and football. St Jude's School aim is to ensure that the Christian faith is taught and lived out in the school communty.
