Background:

St Leonard's School was opened on 24 May 1813 in a tile roofed building behind the village inn, the White Lion. The school is a voluntary aided Church of England primary school catering for boys and girls. The use of computers is encouraged throughout the school and it follows the QCA scheme of work. Each infant classroom has three multi-media computers networked to server, which runs the integrated learning system (ILS) and the national grid for learning software. The junior classroom has four networked computers. All computers have full and controlled access to the internet. The school'strives to develop the strengths of the individual within a constant, secure and happy school environment, capable of responding positively to change.
