Background:

Voluntary aided Church of England school, sponsored equally by the two Teddington parishes reflected in its name: St Mary with St Alban and St Peter and Paul with St Michael and George. One of the oldest schools in the Borough of Richmond, having been founded in 1832. The school, set in attractive grounds, has been modernized and extended to provide excellent facilities. Separate facilities for music, physical education and food technology, in addition to a well-resourced library and an extensive outdoor play area, further enhance the learning environment. Its aim is to give children a foundation of the Christian faith and belief, which is reflected in the principles surrounding the school´s foundation. Children have excellent opportunities to learn in state-of-the-art ICT suite. The school also has a choir and orchestra; opportunities for children to have individual tuition. Children can develop skills in gymnastics, football, netball, athletics and many other competitive and non-competitive sports. It also has a opportunities for before- and after-school care with its breakfast and after-school clubs. Over-subscribed, with more than two applications per place.
